The province of Saskatchewan, located directly between Manitoba and Alberta in the centre of the country, is the 6th largest of Canada's 13 territories and provinces. The province shares border crossings with Montana and North Dakota along the south, close to some of the province's bigger cities.
A Little About Saskatchewan
There are many communities across Saskatchewan, from major cities in the south closer to the American border to the smaller communities in the northern half of the province. Cities like Regina and Moose Jaw are within driving distance of the United States, perfect for a day trip, while Saskatoon and Prince Albert are closer to the interior. It is a large province with many cities spread throughout the land, allowing for a fair amount of variety for anybody who wishes to relocate to the province.
Entertainment & Attractions
Regina and Saskatoon, the two largest cities in the province, have made it a mission to offer a cultural lifestyle comparable to any of Canada's largest cities. There are several museums and galleries in the two cities and each has its own Symphony Orchestra to be enjoyed by residents of all ages. The Saskatchewan Roughriders, the province's professional sports team, is located in Regina and plays in the CFL and while there is no NHL team in the province, the hockey fanatics can still enjoy one of the five major junior teams playing in Moose Jaw, Saskatoon, Regina, Prince Albert and Swift Current. Saskatchewan may not be one of the largest provinces in Canada, but the people who call it home wouldn't change a thing about it. From scenic vistas that are straight out of a painting to the many cultural events that are held in Saskatoon and Regina each year, there will never be a shortage of reasons to call the province home.
